Help with system configuration tool - windows7

Hi

Just ran msconfig (system configuration -windows 7)

See the photo for my system configuration.

Should I have it on normal boot up? Or leave it?

I want to know will it speed up my PC boot up time if I change it to normal startup?

You want to leave it on Selective. Changing it to Normal will likely increase boot/login time as more stuff will load at startup.

Look in the 'Startup' tab, and untick items that you don't want to automatically start when your PC starts (typical things to remove here are the Adobe updater, Java Updater, and so-on).

However it doesn't sound like you're too familiar with what goes on in during the startup of the machine, so it might be wise to leave it alone
