Help with troublesome neighbour

Buy a lion and keep it out on your terrace. See how she deals with that the next time she feels like being all petty.

She'll be having animal sex on his balcony... YOOOOOOUUUUTUUUUBE!!! :D

We have someone similar down the road - he posts notes through everyone's doors complaining about dogs barking, noise of guitar, etc, but the thing is - I seem to remember him asking me years back when I was about 10 to come into his house for a pound. Pedo.

If he escaped with his arm intact (which it looks like he did) then the Lion clearly wasn't biting to his full potential.

What's that old saying about playing with fire and getting burned? :p

How does she gain access to your terrace? Make a lot of noise, cover your terrace in carpet gripper and let her come up and make her adjustments.

Considered a nice new set of speakers?

If you rent you could try making a complaint to your landlord. If she is annoying other residents in a similar way then maybe a few of you could get together and complain?

or you could get together and sort her problem out.... ;)

Try talking to her and seeing what sort of reasoable noise she tolerates (if it is unreasonable then you have a case), some people can make a lot of noise without knowing it.

This sort of thing can be so annoying. Some people who move to apartments don't seem to realise that YES there are other people in the building, it's not a detatched house ffs, there's got to be some give and take.

The "NOTE-LEAVERS" are the worst. They think they're so annonymous. My friend used to live next to a French girl who would repeatedly leave notes on her front door telling her to close her kitchen cabinets more quietly.
I've had one before telling me to park more carefully because "Car parking on our side of the building is at a premium". FFS everyone in this building has a double garage, they should be the last to complain, anyway, I was parked properly :p

Have you tried knocking on the door for a normal chat? If I was a single woman living alone and someone came along banging on the door I doubt I'd answer :p

Have a house-warming party and invite her along, she might be alright :)

Misguided optimism, I say!

These people can't be reasoned with!

The day they start LEAVING NOTES and intruding it's all gone!

Sounds like a bit of a control freak to me though :s coasters on the chairs?

I'd mail them back to her without relevant postage.

The worst noise I get from the flat above is them scraping their chairs on laminate flooring, it is seriously loud from my side. I suggest you ask her if you can listen to someone scraping the chairs from her flat, I bet you'll be shocked at how the sound gets amplified through the floor.

I asked my neighbours nicely if they'd put felt or something on the legs and let them come down and hear for themselves the problem so they could see I wasn't making a big deal out of nothing, she was very apologetic and sorted it out within a day.

Yeah, most of the time it is houses turned into flats and no sound proofing has been applied correctly.
