Help with upgrade

Hi all,

Last upgrade was over 4 years ago, so it's been some time. My new build is intended to last longer than 4 years.

I have recently purchased a 1080ti and a ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q 27. I am wanting to build the rest of the PC with these parts:

I love the case and will be sticking with it, as well the fans

- Can anyone tell me if those parts will work together? Feel free to try get the price down if you feel CPU or RAM / HDD are overkill etc.

The motherboard is socket 2066 and the cpu is socket 1151 so it wont work you should go for the 8700k with a socket 1151 motherboard Z370 .

I think it is out but limited stock on release, you could choose the Basinfalls cpu 7800x route with a 2066 motherboard but for gaming the 8700k edges it.

They Noctua has the longest warranty, but the NZXT has RGB.

The motherboard is very solid for CPU and RAM overclocking and has many SATA/M2 ports.
