Help with Upgrading

Hey Currently I own;

Intel Q6600
Asus P5N-D
4GB DDR2 G.SKiLL
320 HD
600ish ? Akasa
8800 GT

The system is used mainly for gaming @ 1680x1050

I've got a budget of about £350 tops, I'd maybe like a new GFX card and a new HD of about 500GB

any ideas ?

new Video card?..check HD4870 on sale!
also 2nd HDD if u need more storage.

If you decide to get an 4870 have a look at the toxic it runs much quieter and cooler than other 4870`s.

It's also £42 more than the 1gb powercolor 4870 on offer, which also seems to offer a better cooler than the stock version.

Any suggestion for a 500GB ish HDD that would be my main drive, will reinstall windows ect on it.

I think I'll go for the 4870 that is on sale

have a look at the samsung f1 640gb.

get samsiung f1, or any but seagate barracuda-I've got it and it's loud and many reviews say that it's bad quality
