I'm thinking of upgrading at the end of December after I've got some cash together. £700-800 is what I'm thinking. Upgrades need to be suitable for media work (rendering, working with after effects and all that jazz.) and gaming.
Current specs are in signature.
I'd like to go to Intel for that extra processing power but am open to the idea of holding off until 'Zen' arrives.
It'd also be nice to get a new monitor because I have a crappy (but has served me well) Samsung T220HD 1680x1050 22" but any monitor suggestions can be kept separate from the budget if it'd mean sacrificing a good/powerful component if that makes any sense haha.
