I built a rig with UV cathodes this year, and in my experience, they are anything but too bright. They only really make the tubes close to the cathode change, and the rest look normal, so correct positioning is important.

They are sending me the correct ones now 1st class, Its uv red (concentrate) mixed with Mayhems red and DIW with xspc ex360 and ex240, prime 95 only tops out @ 31c :).

It looks very dark to me. you may need to boost the UV aspect of it with UV Pink tbh as having a deep dark red will kill a lot of the UV aspect of the colour off.

Was thinking about dropping the lot and flushing, then re doing with just the UV red and diw with some nuke, it does state that I can mix the 2 (uv + red) on the bottles though.

The tube is actually uv red, the colour was mainly for the res.

Need the new lights to come yesterday!!!

Better now I have received the correct tubes, but flaming hell its pink under UV need change that, the plugs on the Be quiet! even react to it and the fans as well :).

What looks best under UV? The red UV in the res doesn't even glow at all!

Was thinking Green??

No glow from the res :(.

Lol. I had some supposed red cathodes from OcUK and they were pink when the lights were turned off.

I go with with UV blue, but I see a lot of green ones. Go for it.
