Help with wireless access point!

Right, I'm completely stumped. I've just got sky broadband in the new house after having virgin for a long time.

I've got the sky router working fine and my girlfriends laptop and my xbox both connect via wireless. My PC, which is upstairs, has a Linksys WRT54GC router connected to it via Ethernet.

I can't get the linksys router to act as an access point. I've googled it which tells me to disable DHCP and the change the address of the router but when i do i can no longer log on to the router through Firefox.

Please can someone help me!

You need to use the new address you change it to after the Http:// to log on.
If you turn DHCP off you will also need to give your NIC an address on the same subnet.
