Help with wireless setup

Can 2 Routers talk to each other?

Hi,

This is going to seem like a bit of a strange idea, but what I would like to do (if its possible?) is to set up a 2nd Wireless router on my network to receive a signal from the one connected to my ADSL line. Is this possible? (If I made any sense)

Edit: My ADSL routher is a netgear dg834g v 3, and my other wireless router (cable) is a linksys WRT54g v2.2

on the linksys one with 3rd party fireware you can do it but i havent had a go

From what i can make out it sounds like you need an access point which does what you want

what you need is a device that does WDS if you want to extend the range. more awake this morning. www.linksysinfo.org for info on 3rd party firmware.
