Guys what could be the reason?
I just removed gpu, installed cooler, put it back, and now the PC won't boot.
Just keeps constantly restarting

what have i done wrong? :S
thanks in advance

Power cables/seated properly?

Did you connect the fans up when you put the new cooler on?

You could have damaged on the the components OR the thermal paste got on the circuit, if you used arctric silver 5 it is conductive, so if you get in on the vga it would not allow it to start.

+1

use mx-2 or mx-3 or ciramic based pastes which are non conductive. :)

hello again
i've used the zalman stg2m that came with the cooler

interesting enough, a few hours after i wrote this thread it booted fine, so I thought maybe thermal paste needed to settle or something, so i left it, and it worked fine for about 5 hours, but then PC crashed and same thing happened, couldnt boot for an hour, gave up, went to sleep, and this morning it booted fine again... what the hell -//
