HELP!

I've just done something unbeleiveably stupid, I set fire to a piece of naturally produced paper, which i didn't realise is far more flammable! In a panic I dropped it on my carpet which now has burn marks. My mum will murder me if she finds out. Is there anything I can do? I've tried pulling out the fibres with a brush and scrubbing it with water.

Any help would be forever appreciated!!

See if you can knock up a time machine in the shed and go back a few hours then don't play with fire, time travel is much safer

Just face your parents. They're going to find out, a burn on a carpet is pretty hard to fix un-noticed

Try and find out where the carpet was bought from, and buy a small enough piece to cover the burnt patch - then it's your duty to try and match it.

If you want a real suggestion, just grow a spine and tell your parents what happened. Honesty is the best policy with people you like.
