i need urgent help you guys,

right what it is everytime i play CSS and pro evo 5 the game will crash :( i have reformatted to windows MCE and the same thing happens


P4 2.93 GHz
1GB RAm
RADEON X550

it only seems to happen in games it does not happen in windows


Chip set drivers are up too date, and so are the graphics drivers


Bit of a newb question : How do i check for overheating problems ? :rolleyes:

yeah all my drivers are up too date , yes have downloaded all the windows updates. yeah my computer is in the same room as a rediator but the radiator is never on. my room is normal room tempreture :)

Are all the games DirectX games? Most nowadays are I think. It is just games or times when the processor is very busy?

i do a full formatte and still i get this stupid problem :( it seems to be just the games ...
 
When my game crashes the screen frezes and I get a sound loop for 10-20 seconds then the sound goes away and I have to power off.

I am running ...

Packardbell imedia 1615

Windows Xp Pro SP2 / MCE - does the same
P4 2.93 GHz
1 GB RAM
315W PSU
Radeon x550, I think the problem is the video card, I've not had a problem with my STOCK X300 I am using the latest drivers from ATi's site.

the games i mostly play are pro evo 5 and CSS.
