I'm in the process of selling my car and basically need to know who some of you photoshop wizards manage to swirl out parts of the number plate on photo's.

Thanks.

Stupid idea anyway. If i'm looking to buy a car I'm going to want the Registration Number for doing various checks (insurance quotes, RAC data check, HPI check etc etc).

Just leave it on show.

I've decided to leave it on.

Is selling my Saxo for a 3 door 306 hdi a good or bad move lol?

Well you'll get a more economical (but nowhere near as fun) engine, a chassis that isn't quite as good to chuck around (but still good), an ever so slightly larger car, and an interior modeled on stacked shoeboxes designed in the early 90's.

Not enough of a step up to be worthwhile IMO.

I forgot to mention remap.

And 600miles to a tank, a/c, abs, and £90 a month insurance instead of £155 means it's very much a financial decision.

avoid the 306 like the plague...... the interiour is put together in a kinda ikea way with a fisher price my first pug way... there a terrible drive ugly to look at and keep failing, weve got two pug 306 estates, and they spend more time in the workshop under warrenty than they do on the road, 53 plates with 40 k a piece total pish

Thats rather skilled, they only made 306 estates up until 2002. So how did you get TWO on '53 plates

They found a couple that they obviously didn't build properly at the end of the run tucked away in a warehouse somewhere, and managed to sell them to someone.

Or they just weren't registered - like there's a Scooby classic that's going round on something like an 04 plate, despite stopping production/sale in something like 2001 - it got found in a warehouse somewhere and sold on, first registered in the later year, so given an age-related plate on the registration date.

and my alfa is a 2003 model on a 55 plate, manufactorers build massive stocks of cars and usually when there is a new model coming they either pre regester the old ones and discount them or the uk inporters will buy them and stock them for up to two years without reging them, subaru / international motors and ford do it all the time
