HELP!!!!!

Arghhhhh!!!!!

I've got an external USB hard drive and it is no longer being recognised by my PC. Problem is, iTunes library is on it and loads of photos etc....

When I plug the usb in I get "usb device not recognized"

Anyone any ideas?

Go to the Device Manager and remove All USB ports, re-boot and windows will re-detect and install them, then try connecting your drive again.

Thanks for the advice UKD.

I don't know what happened but I left the drive alone overnight, saw your post at work, came home and switched on the home PC to use your advice and the drive is there anyway!

Some things are best left uninvestigated I think.
