Not great with computers, just love playing games, DVDs and having meaningless discussions with people on the other side of the planet. Below is the computer I was thinking of ordering.
Can any of you give me some advice on weather I should change anything or maybe spec me a computer for a similar price. I was working on a budget of £2000.00 (and not a penny more)

This spec is massively flawed in the fact that i forgot a processor ! lol :o
With a quad core q6600 thrown in it takes the total price too £1608.36 and i think its altogether better value, that leaves you an additional £400 to spend on mouse, keyboard, id suggest getting vista 64bit too to fully support 4gb of ram.
Oh, and if your after arctic silver 5 add another tenner onto the cost.

IMO the p182 is far better than the 900, it looks better, cools well,is quiet, and isnt designed to suck dust into the case.
The 620w PSU is more than adequate.
Ive specced you a bottom of the line GTX because i think there better value, if you want better warranty then your adding another £50 onto the price.
The Tuniq tower is great for cooling, and that is its point after all.
The raptors a bit of an un needed luxury, but it will speed up the operating system load times, which i personally think is good if you have the cash.
The Crucial RAM overclocks well and has a great(deservedly) reputation.
The Dell 24" is superior because it dosn't use a TN panel, so has better colours and viewing angles, you could actually budget in a 27" if you wanted.
And the motherboard's also good for overclocking and general stability.

A rather incomplete picture of the spec im afraid, but the rests good.

could get the following, havent bothered with the webcam and flash drive, can add a sound card if you want or use the onboard sound.

mouse can be changed for another gaming one if desired, same for the mobo and memory, hopefully it will give you an idea of what you can get.

EDIT : Noticed DAVIDB's post wouldnt advise getting the 36gb raptor just get another 500gb drive and raid them if needs be.

So are you going to build the PC if people here give you specs or are you looking for a pre-built PC? I figured from the "not great with computers" that you weren't looking to build it ...

Welcome to the Forums.

The Pre-Built system you have shown us is certainly not worth the money, its fully of old tech, you can do so much better for your money.

Right hows this:

Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "LGA775 Kentsfield" 2.40GHz
Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme Heatsink (Socket AM2/LGA775)
Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM 120mm Silent Case Fan - 3 Pin
Abit IP35 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual Channel Kit X2
BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 5000AAKS SATA-II 16MB Cache X2
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional 7.1 Soundcard - Retail
Samsung SH-183LBEBN 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer Serial ATA Lightscribe ReWriter
Seasonic M12 Modular 600W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply
Akasa Eclipse 62 Aluminium Case - No PSU

Saitek PZ30AU Eclipse Illuminated Keyboard - Blue
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 - Retail
Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 Webcam
Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 Speakers (White) - Retail

Total : £1,971.37

The Dell Ultrasharp is a brilliant screen, it looks the buiness and image quality is superb.

Ok, you should be able to overclock the Quad to 3GHZ+ and with good temps. Dont worry about, that you have never ovclocked before, its fairly stright forward, just read a few guides before hand. Their are also people on here that are willing to help you if you get stuck.

The Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme Heatsink is one of the best air coolers you can get and for the price its going for its a steel. Since it dosent come with a fan i have added the Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM 120mm Silent Case Fan which will be absoulty fine.

The Abit IP35 Pro is one of the best P35 Chipset boards you can get in my eyes, very reliable, solid and great overclocking potinal. It also fully supports Intels upcoming 45nm Processors (The Penryn Family)

The Crucial Memory overclocks to 1000MHZ+ quite easily, brilliant stuff.

The 8800GTX is a fantastic card, very powerful and pretty quite too.

The Western Digital Hard Drives are very reliable and quite.

If your looking to spend as much as you are, a Soundcard is a must, it will be much better than onboard sound. The diffrence between onboard sound and actually having a dedictaed soundcard is quite a bit. The Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional 7.1 Soundcard will be perfect, you will hear things that you never thought were their.

The Samsung DVD Drive connectos to your motherboard via SATA connection, this means you can cancel the onboard IDE controllerwhich will help with boot times. Also you can get rid of them ugly IDE cables.

As for the Power Supply, the Seasonic M12 Modular is one of the best out, very reliable and quite. Seasonic are known for their very high quality PSUs.

The Akasa case is a brilliant case, build quality is amazing and cooling is of a very high standard too.

Now if your thinking about getting Vista, get the 64bit version no question about it. Yes their are a few problems still but these are getting sorted out very quickly. It really is a great O/S.
