I recently had PC problems (2 weeks ago) when I was getting BSODs (Kmixer.sys) and all sorts. It turned out to be my CPU and motherboard. I got a replacement motherboard from RMA but OCUK said the CPU was fine. I took this into account and tried it again, but still the same problem with BSODs. I stuck in my E6600 and it has been stable for 2 weeks with no problems. I purchased a NEW Q6600 and Case and just installed it, and to my believe it is still doing it... I don't no how since It is a completely new mobo and CPU
I did have some joy with the new Q6600 + Gigabyte P35C_DS3R until I had a lot of work lode on desktop and in comes the BSOD. The problems made me format and it continued to BSOD in the middle of installing Windows so I stuck my E6600 back in and is stable as anything...
Hopefully I can get my money back and order a new Dual Core because this is puzzling me
