I recently had PC problems (2 weeks ago) when I was getting BSODs (Kmixer.sys) and all sorts. It turned out to be my CPU and motherboard. I got a replacement motherboard from RMA but OCUK said the CPU was fine. I took this into account and tried it again, but still the same problem with BSODs. I stuck in my E6600 and it has been stable for 2 weeks with no problems. I purchased a NEW Q6600 and Case and just installed it, and to my believe it is still doing it... I don't no how since It is a completely new mobo and CPU :(

I did have some joy with the new Q6600 + Gigabyte P35C_DS3R until I had a lot of work lode on desktop and in comes the BSOD. The problems made me format and it continued to BSOD in the middle of installing Windows so I stuck my E6600 back in and is stable as anything...

Hopefully I can get my money back and order a new Dual Core because this is puzzling me :(

Voltages are 1.35 but I have the E6600 back in now. Having 2 Q6600 do exactly the same is troubling.

wha about your ram volatge ? have you set that to the factory recomended settin most boards default to 1.8v and more good memeory wants 2.1v should say on packaging

Is the board setting it's multi to 9x properly?

I had issues on the same board when it was putting it to 8x.
