I left my ram to test over night and i have got 2 errors i have 4 gig and tested 3 gig of it.

Ive been getting graphics corruption in games so im guessing ram is dodgy i am not sure though.
Ram is fairly new and is from geil can i emaik geil for replacement.

2 errors overnight is too few to get worked up over, and it's highly unlikely they'd fail an RMA test.

Try upping the memory voltage a notch, and maybe the northbridge voltage a notch or two as well.

How do i up the north bridge?

Well my gpu seems fine i tested it a lot with no artifacts.

Ive tested 1 stick of ram for few hours and its run fine so im guessing the other ram is abit dodgy it came up with 3 or 4 errors.

Its doing my head in.

My ram voltage is up to 2.0 from 1.8

My stuff is overclocked.

Its ******* me off not know why my game graphics are corrupted and turn different colours it does not happen all the time sometimes it can be ok for hours.

1 error is enough if its not your fault ie voltage, OC etc.

Why did you not continue this in the same thread as last night m8 ?

" In all cases if MemTest finds an error it will stop and report it to you. If you do get an error, you should consider replacing you RAM or at the very least verifying that your machine is correctly configured. Note that even ONE error is a sign of a serious problem - a correctly functioning computer can run MemTest for weeks with no errors.

The most common cause of memory errors is a faulty memory card. Unfortunately, due to variations in motherboards and chipsets, it is impossible to reliably locate the physical chip that is failing purely via software. It is still possible, however, to determine which DIMM is failing if you have more than one, by elimination: Run the machine with one memory board installed at a time; when errors are found the installed board is at fault. This is also a good diagnostic for another reason: sometimes the problem is really with the motherboard, and it will disappear if you have less RAM installed, or if the DIMMs are installed in different slots. If you have access to multiple computers, you can also try testing the "faulty" RAM in both to isolate whether the problem is the memory or some other component.

If you have more than one DIMM and you find errors with both, even when you test them one at a time, this suggests that your RAM is probably OK. Either your motherboard is failing, you are using memory timing settings that are too aggressive, or your RAM is not compatible with your motherboard. You can experiment with memory timing settings in your BIOS, which may allow you to use your ram without errors at a small performance cost. Another thing to check is that you are using the proper voltage setting for your RAM (not all BIOSes let you set this). Please refer to your motherboard manual for information on this topic - HCI Design cannot provide specific recommendations for BIOS settings.

Another potential cause of memory problems is overheating - make sure your machine is well ventilated and try running the test again.

Sorry mate.

Ok so what i did was try each ram by it self just now.

When i put one of the rams in the computer boots but just hangs and turns off? the other stick of 2 gig boots up fine, however when i put both rams in pc boots up and recongnises 4 gig of ram? this is strange is one of my rams broke or something?

Obv if you get an error you then need to test each Memory Module on its own and each Mobo Memory Slot on it own to see where fault lies (total PIA and takes lot of time) :D

Its really strange because if i take out the stick of ram which does not boot by it self i am able to manually set the dram timings to its default state which is 5-5-5 15

If the other ram is present when i do this the pc boots up but just hangs and turns off wtf.

Well that ram is not the problem because its not in my system and i am still getting corrupted graphics good chance the graphics card is screwy.
