There is no right answer to this thread. Only thing that matters is the OP's own preference after reading up on this themselves, anyone trying to convince that one console is better than another is wasting their time.

OP look here http://www.metacritic.com/games/xbox360/scores/ & here http://www.metacritic.com/games/ps3/scores/ decide what you prefer taking in cost of each console and whether you want things like Blu-ray, Live etc.

edit: actually the Wii lol. http://www.metacritic.com/games/wii/scores/. I do actually like the Wii, whilst it gets slated heavily on here, there are some awesome games, like Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Super Paper Mario, Zelda and Res 4.

Doesn't really tell us anything. They could be 5 or 50, male or female

If you really want people to help, give them a rough idea of age/gender/what they play now (if anything).

Reading up yourself is still the best bet though.

Get which ever you want (or all 3), some on here have them all but wach opinion differs. If you have young children and you game on a PC get a Wii. Most of their friends at school will probably have one so its always nice to share games and i know when i was young enjoyed talking about them with my friends. Both the HD consoles are pretty equal with the PS3 having a BD drive, quiter, better first party games and possibly a better media player, 360 has more games and a better online (which you have to pay for).
