Just got my new computer delivered todaym plug everything in and power up, no problems so far... oh wait the vista loading sign has appeared and there's lots of lines over the show. I dont think it's the monitor as the dots change position and more appear on blacks and darker spaces.

Here's a screenshot:

Any help would be greatly appreicated, as you can imagine turning on a computer that you bought from a shop, its quite depressing to have a problem already!

Got the latest drivers for what GFX card you have? Shops tend not to install the latest ones. Plus what is the GFX card?

the little green spots in the corner, that looks like matrix code

I changed the resolution down from 1680x1050 to 1280x1024 and they've gone, but its looks horrible and everything is so big! Any ideas?

Thanks LeJosh but i've sorted it now, i don't know whether it was the combination of changing the DVi cable or unplugging all components then plugging them back in but it worked!
