I have started building my first gaming pc. I have fitted everything except the graphics card. It's a XFX 7950 DD I just need to know what connectors it needs. I have looked at the instructions but it only has tiny picture i don't understand. The card has an 8pin and 6pin which i have plugged in atm.

In the little picture it says 6pin & 8pin but has the 8pin faded
But it shows the 2 6pins grey

Some advice would be much appreciated.

look on the side of the card you'll see two sockets one is 6 pin and the other is 8 pin,then use the pci-e cables from your psu,some connect together to make an 8 pin you might need to do that to one lead,and just plug the other one in as it is(6pin)

if theres only two 6 pin sockets then plug in those from the psu

If it has a 6pin and 8pin on the card, plug them both in.
