They should provide you with the pin layout in your motherboard manual.
As a rule, both the HDD LED and PWR button have + and - pins that have to be in the correct positions. (The + wire is normally coloured, or has a small triangle on the plastic connection)
Apart from that, as long as you stick them in the write place, you're good to go
