Hey guys not sure what the heck is going on, So today i moved my room around and plugged my cables back into my PC and ever since i turned it on, It's take around 3 mins to boot up.

Before i moved my room around it was always like a 15 second boot time, not sure what the heck is going on.

Doesn't say it's installing any updates or anything so i don't think it's that.

Just checked my SSD to see if it was dying, (I've had it since 2012 so i thought it was that, But everything seems fine on Samsung Magician.

Says it's a status is good

I have no idea what's making it start up slow at all.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Whats running in MSconfig in startup? also when you say boot up do you mean
POST - windows
or do you refer to
Login to finished loading

I only ask because so many people in my line of work have made me clarify

As above for sure.

If it is the windows tart up, try disabling any start jobs that aren't essential including your AV.. Disconnect from the internet and re-try. If this works ok, then one of those jobs you turned off is slowing your boot time. Turn them back on one-by-one until you've found the culprit starting with the AV.

Hey guys, When i first boot my PC up i have to wait on the Bios screen for around 3 mins, then get a black screen and then it decides to boot up.

Now i'm getting "USB Device not recognised" on my new keyboard, Tried multiple different USB slots and keep getting the same message.

Then it decides to go away and stop bothering me.

Not sure what the heck is going on :/

I have on startup
Corsair Utility Engine
CouponsHelper
Nvidia Capture Server Proxy
Nvidia Geforce Experience
PowerDVD14
Razer Synapse
Skype
SP
XboxStat.exe

Hope this helps.

keyboards are always better in BIOS anyway. let us know if it returns, but how were you sure it was the keyboard

Well previously my mouse worked just fine, Silky smooth in the BIOS now it's really laggy for some strange reason.

I disconnected the keyboard and the USB error's stopped showing up. I've tried it in 4 different USB ports still getting the exact same error message.

Don't seem to be getting the problem any more with the keyboard, At least for now.

Just having the problem where it takes almost 3 mins for my PC to boot up on my SSD when since day one it's been booting in under 15 seconds.

Okay, so i decided to take out my RAM and test each stick individually and they all work.

My PC seems to boot fast again now under 15 seconds.

I wonder if it was some dust or something under the RAM.

Strange.
