Help

I think for the most part you would be ok right now but you may find as the new consoles come out that games will start making use of more cores so going forward it may start to struggle on the newer stuff.

I would go for the Gpu upgrade now and maybe next year look at going MB, ram and an 8 core CPU which should be good for another 5 years atleast.

Depends on game and if monitor is 60Hz or 144Hz.
And pretty bad time to buy new graphics card now with new cards coming during fall.
Even next-gen consoles will smash that 2060 Super!
If you can hold, it would be better to wait for those new cards to come out.

I'm on a 2600, your CPU should be a bit faster; i'm GPU bound on a 5700XT which is a bit quicker than the 2060 super.

EDIT: You'll be fine, you should be alright upto 2070 super tbh; maybe dont buy a 2080 ti :D

also new graphics cards are dropping in a month or so.

The 1060 is probably struggling at that resolution, it's really a 1080p card now, so I'm sure in most games you'd benefit from a faster GPU.
