Helpdesk - A matter of priorities

My personal favorite are requests to fix anything remotely near to a PC...

"Can you fix my chair, it's an IT issue because i sit on it to use my PC"
 
When people have got on my nerves in the past I just did one thing, turned their desktop upside-down and went for lunch with the rest of the guys. came back a few times and got asked by idiots why the stand on the monitor was at the top and could I move it because the screen was the wrong way up.
 
And the look of total fear when you unplug a monitor then replace it because its got a loose component making that lousey high pitched buzz or some other problem where the screen still works. That look of fear is priceless though, they look at you like you just took away their work, then hey presto its on another screen when you plug it in.
