...yes yes I know it's a daft car but he's stupid too and he wants one.

Budget is 21K, mileage must be 60 at the highest.

Needs to be black and a 3.0 for insurance (petrol or diesel fine, manual or auto ditto).

Some options would be nice and somewhere in fair reach of the south east.

So you know exactly what is needed, and where abouts in the country the car needs to be. What exactly can we do with autotrader/ebay that you cannot?
 
Local dealers/private that I can't see? Traders without websites? Anything newly advertised I may have missed?

Asking for a favour, not a pound of flesh ;)
 
Dealers only have X5's at twice his budget and the only ones that come close are 4Lt cars with at least double his millage@£15k

The reputation for being the tool of choice ('tool' being the operative word) for ex-charver 'property developers'.

AKA people who bought their council house and now rent it out to students.

lol....Have you ever been to Nottingham Penski? There seems to be a lot of X5's around Nottingham but i'm not sure if these where drug dealers or 'property developers' :confused:

That they're driven by *****? They have the worst driver image of any BMW (which is generally pretty bad) apart from maybe the X3.

I'm there very regularly; my gf's parents live just outside Notts.

Irrespective of their profession, they all look like onanists.

So true.

I don't get intimidated easily, but if a BMW X5 is following me, it sends a shiver down my spine.
