Henry Kissinger dead at 100

Rory Stewart, member of the secretive ~400 person Trilateral Commission alongside Kissinger, giving his tribute.

Which other prominent member of parliament was a member of the Trilateral Commission I wonder....

Oh yes, Keir Starmer.

Is that a tribute? Doesn't read like one and he didn't have anything good to say about him on the Rest is Politics.

I know nothing about the Trilateral Commission but I don't see Jimmy Carter as someone to set up some evil shadowy cabal.

Yeah, Kissinger and Epstein are definitely the kind of guys a benign, harmless, invite-only, secretive organisation welcomes in.

Oh ffs Epstein was a successful trader and from reading about it it has lots of members from the business world. He was friends with lots of people, doesn't mean they are evil people as well. I agree Kissinger was a terrible human being with a lot of blood on his hands, he was also a wealth of knowledge that it would be foolish not to consult, if only to learn from his mistakes, though he wouldn't likely of called them mistakes. And lets remember this was first set up in 1973, Kissinger was at the very top of US administration until 1977 and he was likely invited to join once he left public service.

It can't be that secretive when we know who all its leaders are, in fact there is lots of information about it. That it is invite only means nothing, many such organisations are.
