Here we go again. :(

Errrr... slow much?

They make sure their display is not held on the same weekend as the "Council" displays for the town. Attracts more punters.
The guy owns a reclamation firm so you can imagine how bloody huge the bonfire is each year.
The firework display is actually BETTER than the council run event to be honest (well except getting the car stuck in a muddy field that is.) because it's a more local event you end up meeting loads of people you know too.

Well... It would be if it wasn't going to be flipping lashing it down and blowing a bloody gale.

It's truly vile down here at the mo. Popped out at about 3, came home at 5 to find the A361 flooded in places and it was blowing a bloody gale out, car was being chucked all over the place, rain coming down so hard my poor wipers couldn't keep up :p

It wasn't raining so bad when I was toddling over to barnstaple, but just along throgh instow/fremington route I saw four accidents... one of which was a learner that had a tree limb come down on the bonnet and a bmw slide into the rear.

I saw some guy lose his hat outside the train station tonight. You could see the thought running through his head: "Do I run after it and risk looking more of a plonker if the wind catches it again, or do I try and keep what's left of my dignity?"

Hehe. We've all been there.

STOP PRESS!!!
RAIN AND WIND IN AUTUMN!

stop moaning, it's been really dry and warm so far this autumn!

We just had a massive lighting bolt come down here in south wales, it was building up then started hammering down with rain, i looked out of the window and mahoosive strike to the earth happened.

It's hammering down and the trees creaking in the wind have woken me up.
I'd rather be in the Land of Nod than at this keyboard!:(

Its stopped now but more planned for tomorrow apparently, im just glad I managed to see the strike as its possible the most fierce strike iv ever seen.

Woken up by an almighty thunderstorm at 8 this morning, then the hail came. What's weird is that in between the squalls it goes very still - the sun even came out a few minutes ago!

Storms, what storms, last night’s forecast sounded as if the end was coming. It was windy and rained last night, rain through the night, heard a clap of thunder and we now have a sunny morning with some wind.

I hope it clears up next weekend. I've been waiting ages to get my skydiving jumps in (AFF course) but the weather has been so crap recently. :(

Takin the dog for a walk earliar was fun. Was rainin but not too windy.

I dont mind the bad weather as long as im not doing much.

Although i cant say i mind girls with wet hair.

Apparently it hasn't got to you lot yet, that's why! South Devon has 75mph winds last night, and the Isle of Wight had 100mph winds
