Heres the problem...

Just received my console back from germany after getting the RROD. It works

Until.... i plug in my hard drive, then I get 1 red light. I cant update the console unless I have a memory unit attached (the hard drive) which makes it impossible to sign in, or do anything.

What are my options....

Help please, its driving me batty

Yup, got hold of xbox support, and theyre coming to get it again!! just got it back today :'(

Have you tried your HDD in another xbox to make sure it's not the HDD?

God Dammit..

Took it to my mates tonight, tried it, 1 red light.. Is the hdd covered?? and my xbox is away to germany workin... they'll have a fit
