I'm in a similar boat but as a seller. Sent something via Hermes on the 21st Nov and it went out for delivery around 5 times, each time saying they were unable to deliver it but without a reason and said they would try the next day. Last update to the status was on the 29th Nov and just states they'll try on the next working day. Buyer had 0 feedback and their delivery address didn't seem to be the easiest to find. Trying to get any further detail from him was ignored, not that Hermes have asked for it or have been contactable throughout all this. Their chat is worse than useless and Packlink have replied a couple of times to say it has been escalated to Hermes but even they don't seem able to get a response. Now in a position where the buyer, understandably, has raised a refund request so could end up refunding the item and then Hermes turn round and deliver my parcel to them, leaving me £160 out of pocket.
