Well after the random mid-season pause, heroes is nearly back (today in the US, so probably next week here) for the next volume.

Looking forward to see where they take it now, as the last season was still far from the quality of the first volume, although far better than the second, in my opinion anyway.

Finally. Thanks for the heads up.

Was wondering when this would return. Makes me happy.

I thought the second season got good towards the end, but obv. due to the writer's strike, was cut too short.

Season 3 Part 1 was decent I thought, although no-one ever seemed to stay dead in it

Hopefully they will have learned the difference between a tortoise and a turtle by now...

I haven't enjoyed the series since season 1 but i keep watching it in the hope it will return to its former greatness, sadly it looks more and more likely that will never happen.

Thats pretty much how I feel about it.. The first series was great, but they seem to have taken it too far now! :(

Bah - I gave up 3 episodes into this season. I heard it got better but there's now plenty of good TV to be found elsewhere (didn't American Idol just start up again? :D)

Its got great potential, its wasted it all. WHen the head writer apologises for a series, you know it got bad. Most of the characters aren't remotely likeable, half of them, if not more, switch sides every 3 episodes, then they switch sides when the writers change their minds about who the bad guys are.

THe problem with shows like this, and lost is the writers start off with one series writen well over a long time to pitch to studio's so they have a good story. Good writers work for years on a great idea, the second series once picked up has to be writen in 1/100th of the time of a first series, and to do so they hire 15 more writers, so you get a lot of creative differences and no clear idea whats going on.

The idea of time travel fails completely when its used so randomly, you can't run a good several series long show when at the end of series 6 Hiro goes back, changes something and everyones character is all of a sudden completely different, it doesn't work. LImited use, fine, but its overused completely. The amount of times they decide they will for instance, kill Sylar, have a clear chance, decide to, for the 6th time, use him to get what they want thinking they can control him rather than kill him when they have the chance, is ridiculous. Claire is the most pathetically bad actress in the world aswell.

It could have been x-men, with real people and good effects, but it turned into a farce.

oh, and kids, never, ever, ever have kids in shows like this, ever, ever, ever.

Is swearing allowed now or something? I reported the T word in the Transformers 2 topic that aint been picked up yet, now these two.

I love Heroes. All series have + and - points and this new twist sounds interesting, looking forward to it.

gave up on S3 after first 3 ep s. By all accounts it never got better. Giving it a miss tbh. S1 had so much potential. S2 was ruined. 24, lost and the remainder of Prison break for me...

Cant wait for Heroes to restart, finally something worth watching on TV again.

24, Lost and prison break all started off really well but are now same old repetetive boring american carp....heroes went the other way...it started off great, flagged a bit in the middle and came back with a vengeance in season 3.

Let the disagreements begin :D
