heros

The guy that plays Hiro was actually a rather good 'programmer' before he took up acting. Has a degree in computer science and worked on some of the Star Wars movies doing special effects and stuff.

:)

The thing that kills me about this show is having to wait for so long between the last episode and the next one after the new year. All that waiting..... and "SAVE THE CHEARLEADER!!!!"

I always wanted to see 4400, is it not that great then? Sounds fairly cool.

Yes it was originally very good. The first season was about there powers. The second season wilted near the end, and the third season was rubbish, got all a bit preachy and well frankly boring.

Heroes, is filmed better and the story lines are very good at the moment. Lets hope it last.
New one out today ;)

Yep, I can't remember where I read it but he still works at ILM with his fancy filters and effects plus the acting on the side. The guys behind Scrubs said they'd get Franklyn to teleport if they ever manage to get him back on the show :D

I know, i posted it up there^ :p (Someone else has been reading his Wiki!).

I'm officially jealous of him. No one person can possibly be allowed to work for George Lucas, be on Scrubs, and now Heroes. Share the wealth, man! :(

My flatmate told me, didn't notice you'd mentioned it.

Oops. :o :p

Pffft, i could 'ave you in a real life Scrubs mastermind session!

Neither of us can be trusted on the interwebs though, too easy to cheat.

:D

Kinda back on topic though. Anybody noticed how often shows seem to be sharing actors nowadays? It's not even like the shows are years apart, they just have actors starring in both at the same airing time!

I've just started watching Prison Break and i've seen at least 3 actors that have been in other TV shows recently!

Like the guy that played "Bull" in Band Of Brothers was in Lost a couple of months ago and in the 1st season of PB. The main secret service guy in Prison Break was also in Scrubs days apart.

Is there a serious lack of quality TV actors in America or what? :p

Edit; and oh yeah, Holly Valance seems to have nicely typecasted herself as a whore. See Entourage and Prison Break!

Ok just saw the new episode. It seems quite slow compared to the last few, but then what do you expect after the climax of number 11... :( I hate having to watch only one episode a week.

just got a hold of the first ep and its pretty good, i can see it gettin a lot better, intrested to see what the massacre was all about(the woman with the kid). so far the most intresting chars have been the 2 girls

Peter Pettreli is an extremely interesting character because they havent truly defined his power. While some think they have they are mistaken.

Yeah, i wasn't impressed with episode 12. If i'm honest i found a bit boring and actually found myself missing the last 10 mins as unlike a lot of the other episodes it didn't keep me interested.

I think his power has been defined, just the limits to what he can actually achieve by it haven't been explored yet. It's clear his power allows him to mimic other powers (and possibly absorb) and he also has clarvoyiant dreams.

The most interesting thing about his power is the massive negative effect that it has on his body if he absorbs too many diffrent powers within a short period of time.

just finnished the 4th episode and wow this is a brilliant series, the twist at the end of this ep rocks, like supremely rocks, getting a hold of the 5th right now

this is deffo one of my fav tv shows

I like it too. A lot of the episodes don't seem to have a whole lot going on though, a bit like lost in that regard. Watch about 12 episodes and half they just fanny around trying to fill out the story.

It got better after about the half way point but then it sort of stuttered then it got better again. Episode 12 was ok although not much happened.

The Schizo character is rubbish :D. What kind of power is that? Turn into a fruitcake, look slightly constipated and **** out with high strength. Hiro is my favourite. I can sort of imagine where they are gonna go with the story eventually with Petrelli and Sylar.

The Nikki/Jessiace character blows, but her hubby has a pretty cool power, and I wonder when the kid's power will come to light.

Hiro rocks!

After a slow start and me thinking it was just a bad X-Men rip off it really has picked itself up and thankfully has the go ahead for a second season. It seems not many people like Nikki as her "power" is little bizzare to say the least and her story line is basically crap. I still love Hiro though and him and Ando really make the show, without them it would be just okay.
