I went from dual to quad core and noticed a difference too, it doesn't mean our systems are filled with crap though, well mine anyway, I do a lot of Photoshop and multitask work so the quad came very handy here and Vista responds better to it than dual core. Billing should not see much of a difference though because he's not using his setup to its full ability - his Bioshock also takes ass years to load.
The bit about Vista being more stable on the quad though is a bit of a piecake because Vista is only as stable as the drivers you install - the exact same with XP but since XP has been out for years it doesn't have many unstable dirvers any more...
The guy has some issues yes but I guess he tries. I only wish he had a Jamaican accent though, that would have sold the deal
