I needed to find a workaround to encrypt a laptop with PGP (or SDE as it's now known) on an msata drive and the only way I could get this going was via a hex edit to the efi part sector on the drive. Apparently Symantec have got a patch which resolves the issue I was having so I want to restore the disk to its previous state. Will I need to reflash the drive or will an ntfs reformat suffice?
