Came here to post this! Black MR2 turbo with back tyres down to the canvaswhere are the pictures of your Eagle F1s on the back of your MK2 MR2 Turbo that you weren't sure if they needed replacing (I believe they were down to the canvas?)
I was here when this was all fields.
Was it you in the DC5 on the way to Powerstation when someone who really ought to have known better moved out into the lane ahead of you when you and Gibbo were, er, enjoying a bit of the exuberance of youth?
If so, I was some distance behind you and winced as you basically did a stoppie behind them. I was amazed there wasn't a catastrophic accident!
Howard remember when I looked my S2000 keys in my boot and we used your ariel to unlock the boot in a pub car park?

I think my favourite memory of the DC5 was the steering feel - could actually feel the road in your hands. Great car.I do remember @merlin I think it was taking me out in his DC5 and demonstrating how amazing the front LSD was and the speed it could carry going round a roundabout, such an impressive car I am actually on the hunt for a DC5 at present, just want a stock car or close as with no rust and no outrageous asking price now the market is settling. A little like my E30 a car I always wanted in my youth but was never able to afford or I was too occupied by on paper performance and chasing BHP and statistics. I've learnt as I've got older faster never means better and some of the very best drivers cars that offer fun and engagement many would consider slow.
Still after growing up with Vtec cars I think its time to scratch the DC5 itch.
Some of the least powerful cars I've driven have been the most fun.faster never means better and some of the very best drivers cars that offer fun and engagement many would consider slow.
