Hi I've had the home hub 5 for just over 2 weeks and yesterday it started blinking the broadband light red now it will only work using the openreach box what can I do to get it to work without the openreach modem

You've already confirmed that it isn't a line fault, so if that doesn't help it's probably faulty. There's been a lot of lightening around recently, the internal modem could be dead.

Yes tried all the steps, also my friend has the same problem and Google hasn't help at all
