HHKB thoughts

Anyone use a HHKB? I'm seriously considering one, just after some thoughts and feedback seeing as it's impossible to try before you buy.

I have no issues with the form factor as I already use a 60% so having things like F keys and arrow keys and many others on an FN layer aren't an issue, it's more the layout and the topre switches and build quality I'm interested in hearing about.

why not test out the novatouch.

will give you an idea if you like the switches or not at least. you may even prefer the novatouch.

after using a few HHKB, they are brilliant, they are worth the money, you will own the best keyboard available.

I got a stock and type S. They are great little boards. Not the be all and end all but the layout is nice and Plastic mounted Topre's give a great thock sound. I don't use it for gaming though but for typing its ace!

I think i'll probably end up with one, one day. Lovely looking little keyboards but i'm in the same boat as you having never tried topre switches, when you do inevitably buy one, make sure to document it with a lot of pictures =]
