Liquid is a night club in Hanley my dear friend, good night out.

It's only a good night if you leave your brain at home, yes i've been there and was nearly pickpocketed when using the cash machine down stairs. My short experience of Stoke didn't leave any lasting good impression.

Anyway, welcome :)

I don't know the area at all well, but my grandparents lived in Chesterton all their lives.

My grandad used to take me to see the Spitfire in Hanley on Saturdays when I was little.

EDIT Giraffes rock.

Chesterton is in Newcastle, not Stoke. :)

As for the Spitfire, did you go to the Potteries museum or are you one of us lucky older members who got to see it when it was in it's own purpose built 'glass museum'?

I don't recall ever going to the potteries museum :( It was a good 30+ years ago (eeeeeek.....) It was all a bit run down back then, at least it looks it in those B+W photos....

I must visit the potteries again though soon, now I am older I would appreciate the heritage a lot more.

Incidentally and rather pointlessly, my grandparents bungalow was next door to the house where the doctor in the Glasgow Airport case lived.

Yes, but none that can extend there neck to a plane window, look at the ground, its really far away!

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for it. Maybe he's in the cargo compartment, and the doors accidently opened?

Maybe they accidentally a nuke.

I was wrong about that yesterday, it turns out that the MOD employee didn't actually a launch control computer.

Knutton, not a bad place? Are you having a laugh? It's the biggest ****hole for at least 10miles in each direction, and that inculdes such places as Meir, Scabby Abbey, Newstead and Crackley.
