Never failed MOTs with legal kit as long as the beams are properly levelled. You just get more light on the road, but it doesn't or at least shouldn't glare.

Agreed, i've had two of the Hids4u kits now, one H7 and one Bi-Xenon kit.

Both had fantastic build quaility, bulb and balasts are of a very high spec.

Not cheap but i've been really impressed.
 
A lot of people (including myself) bought a set for £20 or so (£40ish inc. p&p) from diane-shop on eBay.

I had mine in for 6 months and various other poeple who have bought them have had them in for 12 months or more without a sniff of a problem :)
 
HMm, Accord Type Rs have xenons on normal non-projector headlamps I believe that are the same as mine, so I guess that wouldn't be a problem if they were correctly adjusted etc. Not that fussed though, my Philips Xtreme Power bulbs do a stirling job

They are reflectors specifically designed for those Xenons though - whereas conventional reflectors are not.

You reckon the ATR headlamps are different then?

Maybe I could source a pair ;)
 
For cost saving you might find that the reflectors in the non Type R are the same - you'll need to find out. But this makes the Accord a special car permissable by virtue of the fact it WAS available with HID's and thus designed accordingly.

Something which cannot be said of most of the cars it seems everyone is slapping an Ebay HID kit into these days.
