Hideous Delivery

Said that the parcel had been left at "browns" (down the road) so i went knocking....

no parcel, but a card... saying un delivered.

so i phoned them up after they have just lied to me saying they left the parcel at "browns" house... and they said that they left the card a no24... no they left a card at number 32 and no parcel, so they have lied twice, then they said it was a white door no24... LIE... no24 me is a brown door, but missing the point they said they left the parcel at "browns" 32... no parcel, so they said ok, we will deliver another time... EXCUSE ME.. when is another time, i said i expect it tomorrow, so i asked could i have an approx time for the delivery, answer... somewhere between 9-5...so i explained that after all this lie-ing i am not waiting in all day or arranging someone else to wait in for me (as i have college and mam works all day) so i demanded a time.... they say they will definitely deliver before 12... and finally.. an apology. this has been the only time ive had bad service from these so i will let it go, but its not very clear and its poor service that happened today.

p.s. all this happened when id been in all day except 1:30-3pm... and no delivery, checked the tracking.. said undelivered... fair enough i thought they must have come while i was out.

but the tracking said they left a card, so i thought, fair enough they are telling me they have been and have left it at another house.

no card, so i phoned them up asking where it was.. then thats when all the lieing began

the one that operates from this site... this is one out of like a million ... but it was a poor one really... im not fussed as long as they deliver before 12 tomorrow as ive wasted a day, and ive give my money also they lied! :p :mad:
 
Yeah i hate it when that happens.

I also hate it when you take in a parcel for someone, then when a parcel comes for you and no one is about, no body will take it in for you!!! Gets on my nerves!!
 
wait til you order a sofa from IKEA and take the day off for delivery.

Then they tell you that the vans broken down after you've rung 6 times asking where it is. Each time they say 'Yes it's on it's way, it will be with you by x'o'clock'.

Then they tell you that the drivers have gone home and they don't know where it is.

Then they tell you that they don't actually know where it is, cos it was never on the van.

The depot you are told to ring says they'll call you back within 7 days. They claim it definitely went on the van.

You go to the store to try and figure out what's going on. You're spoken to like you're a total PITA by the staff who then tell you that every time you chase it your query goes to the bottom. Every day you speak to them and they tell you it will be with you the next day, then when you call to confirm they say they aren't sure where it is but it 'should' be on the lorry.

A week later when you've tried to cancel said order, they turn up with Sofa, while you're on the phone to their depot who say they haven't yet received it 'from Sweden or wherever' (ps..note to Ikea staff, the sofa's don't actually come from Sweden :rolleyes: ). Sit on sofa while Ikea tell you they don't know where it is.

THAT my friend, is a hideous delivery. Although I did get £150 back after making a mountainous complaint :D
