HIFI feet for use with eclipse

Don't know if it's been said but could you not just source a super cheap piece of hifi - radio or tape deck, etc... and use those?

Some old yamaha and sony kit seems to have really nice ones and they generally unbolt from within!

For example, the feet on my Yamaha AX1 are all metal and very high quality plus, as the amps over 28kg they're large so they shouldn't be dwarfed by the eclipse!

Are these any good for you? They are on an old broken technics amp I have lying around. The diameter is 50mm and the overall height is 15mm. Unfortunately two of the feet have those indentations cut into them, as you can see in the photo, but they should be ok as the back feet.

You can have them for nowt since you're a fellow Eclipse owner!

Coolermaster recently started selling a larger range of spares for their cases, including Stacker feet.

Thanks for the kind offer mate :) , but ive ordered some 2" stainless steel tube from ebay before i saw your post.

gt_junkie, I never thought of that, i bet old equipment will have far better quality feet than the newer stuff as well. I checked mine before and their plastic.

Mike_T, they look pretty decent as well, if they were silver they would be perfect.

At least if i cant make any i have a few options now :) .

Hi Mark A,

Glad to be of service! A certain major auction site will have hundreds of available broken and old equipment - so for the price of delivery (cd players and tuners are normally the lightest!) you could get your feet!

Of course, that's only if the 2" stainless doesn't work out! ;)
