Why are interconnectors better than jumpers for connecting pre > power on intergrated amps?

Ah right, I see what you mean. I assumed seperate pre/power amp, didn't notice you wrote integrated. I don't think they're worth changing. It's a fairly solid piece of metal, so will transfer no worse than a cable soldered to a pin IMO.

Just using a dual rca cable to connect them at the moment. Links are being sent

I did connect my soundcard to main in whilst it was still on which made a huge bass bang noise through my left speaker when i touched it. NOT good!
