High CPU usage from Windows defender + Buzzing sound

Noticed my system making a weird buzzing noise, thought it might be coil whine from the GPU or power supply, I guess it still might be but it's not the cause.

The cause is windows defender, after about 10-15 minutes the CPU usage jumps to 15% and something in the system starts making this noise.

As soon as I close windows defender the noise is gone.

Any suggestions how to fix this? or would a better option be to disable windows defender completely and use something else? Strange issue...

well if its causing a component in your comuter to buzz, then surly its a hardware issue.
have you tried running pi or someother high cpu usage task and seeing if it makes the buzz, are you sure its a component and not through speakers?

Probably hard drive vibration as defender is indexing files which can cause lots of activity. Try another AV i recommend https://home.sophos.com/
