£2,000 for a GPU? Holy mother of god. I still can't agree with pricing when I got a 1080ti for less than £700 near release. Absolutely bonkers increase.
 
I have the Lightning 1080Ti - but no way would I pay double for the next incarnation - those are just bonkers prices - and we're upto 1.30 to the dollar!

That’s the worst gouging I think I have ever seen on the Lightning Z. Hasn’t been above 1499 mostly even when there has only been low stock around.
 
I looked at the Gigabyte RTX 2080ti Gaming OC and thought that's reasonably priced at £1099 with a four year warranty, I'm tempted. I then realised it's only reasonably priced in the world of 2080ti pricing.
 
£500 for a 2080ti and I'll potentially pull the trigger at some point, Thing is at 1440p even on a 34" ultrawide my 1080ti handles everything I throw at it and it's not even clocked.
