I'd also consider getting a 970 rather than the 980 unless you have plans to go with a 1440p monitor, (which I would recommend, upgrading to 1440p was the best upgrade I got in years)

the 970 would handle 1440p but the 980 would last you longer without needing to upgrade.

You guys have been giving me some great advices and the builds you've been suggesting are pretty awesome too! But for now I will just go with a single 970 and a 1080p screen. This way I can upgrade the monitor and go sli later on when I actually need to :)

This is my final build which I will be purchasing within the next week or so :)

Tell me what you think about the monitors, which one would be the best ?

For colour reproduction etc, the LG, otherwise gaming etc the AOC due to the better response time

response times do make a difference and can be noticeable - but I'd ignore the advertised rates as they're almost totally useless. Look for reviews of the monitors, places like tftcentral.co.uk or pcmonitors.info are useful - as the advertised specs don't tell you what transition or how much stupidly over-aggressive overdrive was used to hit the time, which can result in massive overshoot & worse smearing of the motion than slow transitions in the first place.

Ok, I see what you mean. Well, since I will mainly use this for gaming I shall go with the AOC since it's got better response time (apparently). Thanks for the websites though, really useful.
