Hey guys,

I'm looking to put together the following build in the next month. I've went for a pretty high end build I just don't know if the full CPU + GPU loop is worth it.

I am really keen on a really quiet system and will be definitely water-cooling the CPU just not sure on the GPU. How noisy are these types of cards?

I am so tempted to go the whole hog. My bank balance would hate me though :eek:

I just don't really have a subjective reference on how loud the GPUs are. I do appreciate they'd be the loudest thing in the case though.

I did think about windows 8 but my brain screams Noooooooo!

I thought the faster memory the better? Thanks for the alternative suggestion on memory.

Once I start to order bits and stuff I'll put together a build log.

Thanks for posting up a alternative build. 1 quick question on it will 2x a 240 rad be enough to cool such a loop?

I'm a complete wc noob. I only put together what I had from reading these forums and watching some online videos on watercooling. So excuse my lack of knowledge

i've modified my original post to use the cart plugin thing. awesome!

I've decided to go for 2 Alphacool Rads (not included in spec). these will be 2x480mm. I've taken some of the previous responses and incorporated them into my build spec which makes it come in quite a bit cheaper. this will allow me to spring for a new monitor as well.

i stuck with xspc for a lot of the cooling stuff as i've heard some not good things with regards to EK (nickel plating flaking and wrecking loops?)

Good to know that issues with Ek aren't current. I'll give some thoughts to making some further adjustments to my build.
