must only be on the isle of wight, remembers it's like a different country where you don't need to pay taxes or get insurance when being paid to clean cars in your spare time.
Well at the petrol station yesterday I managed to accidentally buy "High Octane Unleaded" instead of 'normal' unleaded. There was a choice between Premium Unleaded or High Octane Unleaded. I wanted the normal one, premium sounded like the 'special' one to me. Obviously I was wrong.
Anyway thing is my car already had some 'normal' unleaded in the tank so it's now mixed with the High Octane one. Should I be worried? Is my car going to explode?

This is all very easy to understand.
Before the recent "Momentum" re-branding, it was just "Tesco 99".The Tesco in Llandudno has been selling 99 octane Super for over 5 years but it only changed to momentum last year, any idea what they were selling before? well apart from rubbish fuel lol ^^ (not trying to argue, I wanna know lol)
2* 90 octane
3* 94 octane
4* 97 octane
5* 100 octane
The extra octane was probably to allow for greater ignition advance. So the XR2 etc of old actually wanted 97 octane fuel? Did this help the valve seat burn or was it the lead content within the fuel?

Tescos Super and Shell V-Power are both 99 RON but V-Power is better quality.
And the issue with that is?To understand my argument you need to understand that this isn't the first time Fox has said "Premium is the lowest grade you can get in this country.", its a statement I've observed him use a few times.

The thing you also need to get is that Premium doesn't mean good - fuel varies between suppliers.
Does it really matter guys? everybody refers to it as "regular unleaded" anyway ^^

Genuine question why is there no standard term for 99 octane fuel or is there?
95 octane = Premium
97 octane = Super
99 octane = whatever the company wants to call it????
