the type-r has two fans, 1x120mm and 1x80mm.
the 80mm fan is exhaust out the back of the case.
on mine the 120mm is silent, the 80mm makes a hell of a racket.
i solved that by disconnecting it. might eventually volt mod it slower.
but the 80mm fan is very thin, looks a non standard size (thickness wide).
doubt you'd get a normal 80mm fan in there, very tight.
other than noise though, both fans worked flawless.
