Hiper 580w Modular enough to power crossfire?

I have a Antec neo 550watt psu and it works fine with 2 x1900xtxs in xfire.

Why am I dubious about this post...........maybe it was just a slip of the finger or not explained properly -but xfire'ing two XTX's is impossible ( oc'ing an XT Mastercard to XTX speed is not however, but it still aint an XTX - unlikely to get the same RAM type etc for one)

most likely a typo

I have a Hiper 580W Type R powering my rig. Both 7800Gt's are overclocked to 490/1.18 and the 3700+ is now clocked to 2.6ghz. I have never had a problem with my Hiper, either with my old rig, or with this one since November 05. I have had it over a year now and has run stabily and quietly in all that time.

Yeah but the power drain from 2 7800s even overclocked is a heck of a lot less than the monster which is a x1900 crossfire. The Hyper is SLI certified it for the 7800s.

Exacty -powering two SLI cards shouldnt be an issue but the X1900 is a different ballgame
