Hiper Osiris

Are those water-cooling in/outlets above the pci brackets on the back? Do they just push out? Pretty sweet if they are :)

Yes, they are round holes with a soft plastic fill with cuts in, so you can just push the pipes through.

Just curious, how much space is there behind the motherboard tray? Can you easily fit a load of power leads behind there?

Will have a look tonight, can't remember off hand, unless anyone else has the case at hand to look?!

I use 4x Hiper 120mm chrome fans in my lian li PC7+ for cooling and I love them. The move a hell of a lot for the noise. So if the ones in here are anything like them, you should be very happy.

This looks like a very tempting case. Damnit OcUK get some in stock so I can order my new upgrade already ! :p

Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Not sure when I'll be putting it all together as I'm not in any particular rush, and I still need to source a few bits and bobs.

I hunted high and low for purple LED fans, but alas to no avail. Instead I got four 120mm Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 blue LED fans. I've got a Scythe Kama-Bay to populate three of the 5.25" bays and house the forth Sharkoon, giving me a 2x120mm intakes / 2x120mm exhausts. I was going to be hooking them up to a fan controller, but I unpacked one earlier and fired it up while mounted to the Kama-Bay and it's barely audible with my ear dangerously close to it. Quietest fans I've ever nearly shredded my lughole on :)

All I really need now is something to populate the remaining 2x5.25" bays. DVD/RW will take one of course. Not sure what to put in the remaining bay now that a fan controller isn't needed. Something "bling" and completely useless I suppose :D

Incidentally, there's a gallery of hi-res pictures of the Osiris here: http://www.hipergroup.com/English/osiris/index.php?action=gall :)

Looks really good.

not sure about the logo on the front though. Other than that, the quality looks pretty impressive.

Looks a great case, but I wanted LED fans. With the cost of the extra fans, I might as well go the Antec 1200 route.

If i do decide to get one of these Ill be filling the 5.25" bays with one sata dvdr drive, one fan controller and one Scythe Kama-Bay.

I've found that the Kama-Bay is approx. 4mm "skinnier" than it should ideally be. Means there are nasty gaps at the sides when it's installed :(

I'm going to look for some sticky-back black foam strip or something to "beef up" the sides. At least the grill on the Kama is roughly the same size as the Osiris' front grill so it does look good when lit up :)

I'm loathe to say it, but it looks a lot nicer than my Black Widow :o

Same when it sits in my dragon, most annoying. It means I have to have a million washers on either side of it so it doesnt rattle like a ******* :p

Well I got round to assembling my osiris case and overall i'm feeling underwhelmed by it.
The osiris is a nice case to build in with some nice touches (stealth cd drives, vented pci slots and purple power light), but the cooling performance of the case is only average. The stock fans are louder than what i'm used to but shift a fair bit of air - I changed these to some noctuas, but these didn't improve the case temperatures, only the noise factor.
On my case both doors bow outwards towards the top and bottom, yet sit flush in the centre.
Has anyone else noticed this on their osiris.

I am considering returning the case, as like I said I am feeling somewhat underwhelmed by the case.
I will sleep on it and decide in the morning

Mine arrived today and i built it with a kama bay in the front. The build quality is awesome and i dont seem to have any "bow" doors. Cooling is blooming great from the experience so far, stock fans are not the quietest but push lots of air.

I came from a thermaltake shark so maybe there was a lot of improvements to be had. Overall i cant fault anything about the case.

Yep both doors sit flush, the windowed one requires a little push for it to clip back properly now and then if ive had the door off.
