Don't know if anyone has made a thread alreayd, search didnt show anything. Made my day this has

Was expecting the torch in a jiffy bag or something, but it came in a nice box and inside that was a case with the torch inside. Very nice for £4.99

The torch is nice and bright, much better than this little 1 LED thing I was using before that came from the gift shop at Stonehenge.

Only 1 bad thing is that it seems the inside of the box has rubbed off against the case... and so the white part of the case is a bit dirty.

Is that Solar Powered or something?

Also, how bright is it, any beam shots?

It uses the solar panels to keep the batteries charged. It is quite bright, there is another thread with a beam shot in it I think, my camera is awful.

Hmm can't help but thinking the bulk of that £5 is going on the sweet packaging though, as it is standard LED torch with solar panels otherwise?

Not dissing it or anything, it's perfectly fine for what it is of course but for £2 more you can get something a bit more epic!

To be honest I bought it on impulse and probably wouldn't buy it now it is near £10.

The torch itself is quite nicely made. Though I think I have broken the cover over the button already
